The service was excellent, my only feedback on change relates to directions, the name of the building needed with a site map maybe more useful for visitors too. Also a reminder to have change for car parking. Otherwise, amazing speed, support & helpfulness. thank you.

I found the steps to book my online appointment very easy. The questionnaire is very detailed and lengthy, however is understandable. The letter was professional and to the point, self explanatory, the fact sheet attached was also very helpful with what to expect at your breast check appointment. The nurse that I saw was very friendly, helpful and professional. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. I would highly recommend your services. Thanks to all

Surprisingly good experience! I am used to being treated like cattle and the attitude of everyone from the reception to the consultation and the examination was wonderful. Then to add cream to the experience I got the results letter the next morning Very impressed! Former Eastenders actress Emma Barton’s life has been touched more than once by breast cancer.

“I lost a friend who’d suffered twice with breast cancer,” says Emma. “When you lose someone like that, it really makes you aware of the importance of looking after yourself and being alert to any changes in your body.”

James Tilbury*, aged 50, contacted BreastHealth UK when he identified a lump just below his nipple; he says: “I have a busy working life and I just wanted to get it sorted out as soon as possible, I didn’t want to wait for a GP appointment and then wait again to be referred, it would have taken too long and I didn’t want it to play on my mind. BreastHealth UK organised a same day appointment with a qualified breast surgeon and I had a mammogram and an ultrasound later that day, as recommended by the consultant. I was very pleased with the speed of the service and the ease of access to qualified staff. For me, privacy and confidentiality were really important and I was dealt with in a very professional and sensitive way.” Fortunately for James the lump was benign and he did not require any further investigation or treatment.

After the results of a routine mammogram test in December 2010 came back clear from her GP, Marisa felt confident that a breast screening detection programme organized by BreastHealth UK through her workplace, Hewlett Packard, 10 months later, would not be cause for alarm.

However, when a specially trained nurse from BreastHealth UK examined Marisa, 54, she noticed a thickening underneath Marisa’s left breast which she thought looked unusual.
